This Blows

What better source of energy is there than wind? It is abundant and sustainable with little environmental impact. We spent many months documenting what it takes to build a wind farm and specifically “Bella” – the turbine we affectionally call her – from a hole in the ground to a towering statue of progress in Alberta, Canada.

We pulled out all the stops for this film: Time-Lapse, Slow-Motion, Go-Pros, Drones, and in some cases so focused on filming that we didn’t realize there was a massive young moose behind us. The final result is a fast-paced and fascinating film about the real truths of wind energy at the Bull Creek Wind Farm.

“It is amazing to be at the base of a wind turbine. They are majestic, statuesque, and above all else…quiet. What’s fascinating to me is something so elegant can change the future of our energy consumption – and that makes me sleep better at night.”
