East Village Ambassador Zoey @ 6 Months

East Village Calgary

East Village Resident Ambassador Zoey Duncan has lived in the First development for the first six-months of her residency. Now it’s time to head across the street to Evolution by Embassy BOSA for her last six-months as Ambassador.

Not only are we big fans of what East Village has become, Director Ryan Northcott is also a resident. So it’s especially cool to work on projects centred around a passion of ours – city improvement and development.

The move from First to Evolution is a part of the production, yet we truly wanted to show the human (and feline), everyday interaction with the neighbourhood. It’s not just a place to live; You’ve got St. Patrick’s Island, Charbar, Sidewalk Citizen Bakery, Phil & Sebastian, Riverwalk, Studio Bell the National Music Centre, and the to be completed New Central Library.

Besides their adorable cat, we used her Roller Derby roller-skates as a constant throughout. It’s meant to signify that all walks of life inhabit East Village and frankly they were pretty colourful.

“I always look for something to tie a production together. Information is just that – information, but information isn’t entertaining – if you can marry the two in a way that sells the message that’s where I’ve felt I’ve succeeded.”
